News: Hot Tub Time Machine, The Crazies, Percy Jackson & the Olympians and a documentary about The Doors top this week's Blu-Ray releases.

With today's news of Hulu Plus support for PS3 and past announcements like MLB.TV and Netflix on PS3, Sony's cutting-edge console is officially the gamer's hub for multimedia. But, let us not forget the system's first great non-gaming feature: The built-in Blu-Ray drive.

Here are this week's releases for Blu-Ray that you can enjoy on the PS3 or standalone Blu-Ray player:

Hot Tub Time Machine
A group of friends, all dissatisfied with their adult lives for different reasons, get transported back to the 80s (specifically 1986) and have a chance to change their future. With a bunch of 80s pop culture callbacks, this Blu-Ray comedy comes through as our pick of the week. There's an Unrated version and the cast includes John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Crispin Glover and Chevy Chase.

The Crazies
You probably didn't see this horror movie in theaters, but spotted the commercial a dozen times. It was the ad in which a man walks onto a small town's baseball field with a shotgun and the sheriff has to gun him down in front of everyone. It turns out that the population of this small town in Iowa is being consumed by a zombie-like disease that makes people crazy. Of course, that's not the only problem for the town's survivors, as the government decides to use isolation and deadly force to combat the problem.

When You're Strange: A Film About The Doors
While you may have heard of The Crazies and decided to put off seeing it until its Blu-Ray release, you probably didn't see or read anything about this documentary about The Doors. It's narrated by Johnny Depp and includes unseen footage, as it chronicles the band's beginnings at UCLA all the way to sold-out shows and Jim Morrison's death in 1971.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
Rick Riordan's fantasy-adventure novel of the same name made its big screen debut in February and it's making its way to Blu-Ray this week. While the film's box office opening didn't best the likes of Harry Potter, Narnia, or Lord of the Rings, it was a success, ensuring we'll see the four other installments of Riordan's books on the silver screen.

Predator: Ultimate Hunter Edition
Predators, starring Adrien Brody and Topher Grace, is set to release in theaters next month. This is not that movie. This is the original 1987 classic starring the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although fans may recall that Predator already released on Blu-Ray two years ago, this version is supposed to have improved digital restoration and five hours worth of featurettes.

Additional Blu-Ray Movies of Note:
Х Kill Switch
Х Black Sabbath: Paranoid
Х Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Mojo
Х Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage
Х Don McKay
Х Stolen
Х The Warlords
Х The Eclipse
Х Everlasting Moments
Х The Leopard
Х Uncle Sam
Х The White Ribbon
