Shank, MotorStorm 3D Rift, PixelJunk Racers 2 added to PlayStation Store @ Gaming Target

News: Along with a bunch of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Sony didn't skimp on the PlayStation Store updates this week. Four games were added to the download service, along with a ton of other add-on content.

Headlining this week's new releases is Shank, a bloody side-scrolling shooter with a bit of a Kill Bill vibe. If 3D is more your style, Sony has also added MotorStorm 3D Rift, an enhanced taste of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift with 3D display options, to the PlayStation Store. And speaking of racing, this week's update also includes PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap, which is available for free to gamers who already own PixelJunk Racers (it's $6.99 for the rest of us). Finally, a PS3 version of Press Your Luck says BIG MONEY! NO WHAMMIES! STOP! to the PlayStation Store this week.

Sony has also made some new PlayStation Plus freebies available this week. If you're a subscriber to Sony's premium level of PSN play, you'll be able to download Mushroom Wars (PS3 on PSN), 2Xtreme (PS1 Classic) and Vempires (PSP Minis) for free. Plus subscribers will also get early access to a TerRover demo.
