The new Netflix native app that allows you to stream Instant Queue movies on your PS3 wasn't an option to the year-old streaming disc process. The company sent out a notice today saying that streaming discs will cease to function next week, November 17, and urges users to download the app to continue watching their favorite on-demand movies and TV shows.
Netflix also notes that there's no need to return the streaming disc. So, feel free to use them as coasters, Frisbees or for target practice whenever you run out of clay pigeons.
