News: Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime says the games will come after June's expo.

Even after attending Nintendo's 3DS Press Conference in New York City last week, we were still a little unsure about the release dates for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Kid Icarus and Mario Kart 3D. Two of the three games were present in playable form at the event, but none of them were listed among the "launch window" titles that Nintendo had promised by June. Of course, the list included 23 known games and Nintendo had promised a total of 30. Although we eventually figured out that most Nintendo 3DS games cost $39.99, we still wondered: When will Zelda 3DS release?

"After E3," said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime to an MTV News camera, speaking of the annual expo being held from June 7 -9 this year. "Mario, Zelda, all of those titles are coming. And, from our perspective, we like to launch titles when they're ready. And so they'll be ready, they'll be ready soon, but just not in that initial time period of late March to early June. So for games like Kid Icarus, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart, those games we'll share more information about at E3, certainly they'll launch after E3."

Hardcore gamers, he suggests, should look forward to third-party fighting games like Super Street Fighter IV and Dead or Alive Dimensions. Reggie also said that Nintendo's own three launch titles, Steel Diver, PilotWings Resort and Nintendogs + Cats, would also appeal to these gamers. Nintendogs + Cats? Maybe hardcore gamers with a heart of gold.

No word on Star Fox 64 3D and whether or not the launch window is open or shut for that N64 remake.
