News: This would be the second map pack and release on Xbox 360 on May 3, 2011 followed by the PS3 and PC soon after.

We've had our fun with the four First Strike maps, but now we're setting our sights on the second batch of maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Although Activision hasn't officially revealed any details or even a name for the new DLC, retailer GAME may have just outed CoD: Black Ops Escalation.

The Australian website for the British retail company posted a detailed flyer that names the DLC and its five maps. It was quickly pulled from the site, but not before VG247 downloaded and posted a copy of the image for everyone to see:

At first, the release date of 3.5.2011 makes the flyer seem a bit dubious. However, the down under ad translates to March 3, 2011. That release set, if set in stone, is when the maps will arrive on Xbox 360, given Microsoft's exclusive DLC agreement for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The PS3 and PC versions should follow later in the proceeding weeks.

This legitimate-looking flyer names the five maps as:
  • Seize the Zoo
  • Take the Hotel
  • Secure the Convoy
  • Raid the Stockpile
  • Survive Call of the Dead

The last map shows the telltale signs of being a zombie map while the four above it are likely to offer your standard fair of multiplayer score settling. We'll know for sure when "Escalation" hits in another month. Now if only GAME could let us in on when details of Call of Duty 8 / Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and its release date, we'd be mighty pleased.
