Catherine Game News: Xbox 360, PS3 game from Atlus Software continues its bizarre streak by demoing its puzzle gameplay ahead of next week's release date.

Catherine Xbox 360, PS3 gameplay

The final Catherine gameplay trailer has hit YouTube ahead of its July 26 release date and it's just as peculiar as the rest of what we've been seeing from this Xbox 360 and PS3 game. The artwork surrounding this game is filled with sexy female images, but this sex appeal is a little confusing, as you're playing as a half-dressed man. Likewise, the story involves men as sheep and not one, but two Catherines - a Katherine (whom you are being pressured to marry) and a Catherine (whom you meet and acts as an unplanned diversion).

Fortunately, while its provocative NSFW, sex-filled theme and its complex story are a big question mark review the full game, the gameplay does make a whole lot of sense judging from the puzzle-filled trailer. Vincent, the game's protagonist and playable character says it best: УIf you don't want to die, you've got to climb,Ф right before furiously scales on top of a never-ending series of boxes and past fear-inducing booby traps.

The gameplay trailer makes Catherine looks as if it's going to give our Intelligent Cube skills a test come July 26. However, you don't have to wait until its release date, as a demo of the odd, but interesting game is available on Xbox Live and PSN right now.
