Dead Island News: Techland takes to Twitter to update the public.



Dead Island developer Techland know it's tropical apocalypse simulator has a few kinks to work out on PlayStation 3. Last night the Poland-based company broke it's silence on the glitches plaguing the PS3 version via the game's official Twitter feed:



The tweet mentions the two most frustrating bugs on the PS3 version: untrustworthy auto-save and disappearing trophies. The lack of timeline for the patch suggests this is a complicated fix.

Since Dead Island release on September 6, players have been reporting bugs across all platforms. While the title has garnered strong sales and generally favorable reviews, it's become a work in progress. Publisher Deep Silver previously stated an apology would be made to those affected by the Steam release snafu, but has made no recent mention of it.

Hopefully, once they get those issues under control, they can move onto the more amusing bugs popping up:
