Gears of War 3 got it's first DLC yesterday, Horde Command. It has new maps, new fortifications, and decoys that shoot back. Check out the trailer below, and let that old charmer Dizzy give you the rundown.

With this DLC, good things come in threes. There are three new maps: Azura, Rustlung, and an old favorite, Blood Drive. Also, three new playable characters: Bernie, Onyx Guard, and Big Rig Dizzy. Then there's the command center, which calls down three types of support: sniper, mortar, and Hammer of Dawn. Finally, decoys can now be upgraded to full-fledged AI teammates.

Remember, if you plan on buying into all of the Gears 3 DLC, you might as well spring for the Season Pass, which will give you this and the next three DLCs for 2400 Microsoft points. According to Epic Games , that's a 33% savings. The Gears of War 3 Horde Command pack and the Season Pass are both available in Xbox Live Marketplace, for 800 and 2400 Microsoft points, respectively.

Epic has detailed two more upcoming DLC releases: a free Versus Booster Map Pack on November 24, and a campaign add-on, RAAM's shadow for December 13.
