Max Payne 3 Trailer News: If you're OMG for the Max Payne 3 release date, then check out the trailer for its SMGs. These are going to be your powerful go-to weapons.

Max Payne 3 weapons

Max Payne 3's release date is less than a month away here in North America, so Rockstar Games is continuing to show off the game's heavy weapons - literally - with this trailer dedicated to its SMGs. The quick forty-second video, below, shows the powerful firearms in action with never-before-seen gameplay footage to boot. So, just in case you haven't been getting enough of the newly revealed online bullet-time in Max Payne 3, here's forty seconds of new content.

In Max Payne 3, you'll be able to dual-wield lighter SMGs, like the M10 and Micro 9mm. But you may want to go the more powerful route of the SAF .40, a heavier, two-handed option that lets you mow-down foes who stand in your way in the Max Payne 3 campaign mode and multiplayer. It's ideal for long-range firefights, while smaller SMGs like the Micro 9mm are best suited for close-quarters combat.

The May 15 release date for Max Payne 3 means its corner the same window that Rockstar Games reserved for LA Noire and Red Dead Redemption. We'll let you know how stellar the reviews and the sales are for this highly anticipated game when its release date rolls around. Until then, be sure to check out all of the Max Payne 3 news on Gaming Target.
