Final Fantasy XI Seekers of Adoulin Revealed Nine Years After FFXI Released

FFXI Seekers of Adoulin News: Return to Vana'diel one more time in FFXI Seeker of Adoulin, the 2013 Xbox 360 and PC expansion to Final Fantasy XI.

Final Fantasy XI is getting a new expansion almost nine years after its initial release in North America with Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin. The announcement of Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin coincides with the Final Fantasy XI 10th Anniversary Event titled, УA Decade of Final Fantasy XI Vana'Fest 2012.Ф

Marking the fifth addition to Final Fantasy XI, УSeekers of AdoulinФ will feature two new jobs. Geomancers will harness the elemental energies of Vana'diel to aid their comrades and attack enemies alike. As versatile duelists, rune fencers will be quick with a blade as well as incantations and employ the power of arcane runes to sway the tide of battle both offensively and defensively.

Some of the key features for Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin will include:

The additions of the Ultra Continent and the Sacred City of Adoulin that further expand on the FFXI storyline
New and stronger monsters throughout the areas that span the Ultra Continent
New gameplay systems such as player-built outposts, new contract work and the introduction of special Уpower spotsФ that are hidden throughout the environment for powerful character enhancements

Additionally, Kazushi Hagiwara, the internationally acclaimed manga artist, designed the artifact armor and weapons for the new jobs. His artwork will bring a fresh, new look that will seamlessly blend into the world of Final Fantasy XI.
