Transformers: Fall of Cybertron News: New Transformers game for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC moves up its release date by a week.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron new release date

In a rare move, the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron release date has been moved up by one week, from Tuesday, August 28 to Tuesday August 21 in the US. That's good news all around, because early-to-mid August was looking a little bare in terms of quality action video games and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron certainly fits the action bill on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

As if the unprecedented release date...un-delay news wasn't enough, Activision and developer High Moon Studios also released a new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. This minute-and-a-half YouTube trailer features Optimus Prime calling on Metroplex, the biggest Transformer in the series and controllable (remotely) in the game.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron trailer proudly ends with the moved-up release date and, we should also mention, begins just as proudly thanks to an E3 2012 ?Best of Show? award from Game Informer magazine. We'll let you know how this new Transformers game turns out, a week sooner than we had anticipated.
