Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo release date

A month ahead of the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron release date on August 21, the demo has arrived for eager Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. Even better, the demo features both single and multiplayer gameplay, including two playable campaign missions in this Transformers game sequel. A note to our PC fans: Yes, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is coming to Windows as well, but no word on a demo ahead of that version of the game.

The first mission in the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo stars Bumblebee, who battles against an attack by Megatron and the Decepticons in order to save the Autobot starship. Vortex, meanwhile, provides a more non-linear mission with firefights on the ground and in the air. This is especially entertaining because of his chopper-to-jet-to-robot transmission capabilities.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo is rounded out with a taste of its multiplayer mode, offering players a chance to check out the character customizer and online modes Team Deathmatch and Conquest. We really liked we we saw in Las Vegas earlier this year and have the demo in the queue. Best of all, developer High Moon Studios says it ?will be carefully monitoring the multiplayer action for player feedback and balancing data,? so the experience could be tweaked by the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron release date on August 21.
