News: Borderlands 2 has three new YouTube trailers that scope what you’ll be scoping through on the battlefield. Check out the weapons videos.

Borderlands 2 trailer weapons list

The newest Borderlands 2 trailers demo what the co-op-encouraged game franchise is known for: it's weapons. With the Borderlands 2 release date of September 18 fast-approaching, 2K games and developer Gearbox Software are detailing the Maliwan, Tediore and Vladof with a trio of themed videos on YouTube. With each new video, the humor gets better and better.

The first Borderlands 2 weapons trailer is entitled Maliwan. It forty-five second gun pitch features a Portal-like voice over talking about this "form meets function" weapon. "Our elemental tech transformers the battlefield from a cacophony of idiocy to a masterpiece of destruction." It really paints a nice picture for the more chaotic version of events and gameplay.

Borderlands 2 brings in the Russians with the Vladof trailer. It features a comical, overeager Russian commander talking about the high-firing weapon that's fit for these trying times. "They are coming" the voiceover shouts in the beginning with very simple animated graphics (thankfully, not Borderlands 2's actual graphics). And he ends with just repeating the name Vladof three times, in hopes of making the gun pitch.

Finally, our favorite Borderlands 2 trailer for the weapons list is the Tediore video. It features an animated cast of two (if you don't count the enemies deemed to be "psychos and perverts" in the background) who have a campy quality to them. Be sure to watch this "thumbs not required" trailer if you're only going to watch one Borderlands 2 YouTube video.

Borderlands 2 comes out on September 18, so check back here for more updates between now and the United States release date.
