CoD Black Ops 2 Nuketown 2025 News: The Nuketown 2025 map was supposed to be a first-weekend-only CoD Black Ops 2 pre-order bonus, but after it disappeared fan complaints, it’s back.
The Nuketown 2025 map bonus lives on thanks to the outcry of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 fans. Complaints began after the pre-order bonus multiplayer map was taken away on Nov. 18, the end of the CoD: Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend.
That gave gamers just a few days with the re-imagined Nuketown map, always a fan favorite. This, of course in today’s day and age, lead to a twitter riot and the hashtag #bringbackNuketown2025.
It didn’t take long for someone at Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch to hear all of the CoD complaints.
“Double XP weekend is official [sic] over,” tweeted Treyarch game designer David Vonderhaar initially. “That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don't kill the messenger.”
He came back to announce that Nuketown 2025 will be back in the CoD: Black Ops 2 multiplayer rotation in a playlist called “Chaos Moshpit.”
“You killed the messenger, but I still fight for the users. RT to #bringbackNuketown2025 and we will add to a small maps moshpit.”
Now CoD Black Ops 2 map Nuketown 2025 should be returning to a playlist near you soon on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC if it hasn’t already. It may be under a different playlist, but it still makes the Nuketown 2025 pre-order download worth the paper it’s written on.
