Update: You can now watch the Assassin's Creed 4 trailer via YouTube before the official reveal date.
The Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag release date will be Oct. 29, 2013, according to an Ubisoft website that prematurely revealed the launch date.
So far, AC4 has been pegged for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, with PS3 taking the lead thanks to 60 minutes of bonus gameplay on that system.
The pirate-themed Black Flag is also rumored to be in development for next-generation consoles, PS4 and Xbox 720. As much as this would make sense - Ubisoft had appeared on stage at the PS4 press conference last week - the French company hasn’t confirmed any of this yet.
The Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag story sets the game in 1715 and stars pirate assassin Edward Kenway, according to early reports. The lineage makes him the father of Haytham and grandfather of Connor of Assassin Creed 3 fame, said the
Examiner.
