Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 ‘Mob of the Dead’ soundtrack released

CoD Black Ops 2 News: Listen to the CoD Black Ops 2 Mob of the Dead Soundtrack when you can’t be home to play it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 released new downloadable content last week on Xbox 360 with the new “Uprising” map pack. In addition to the CoD new maps, there was also new zombie content with the “Mob of the Dead.”

Earlier today Activision revealed that the official “Mob of the Dead” soundtrack can now be purchased digitally worldwide on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play and more, via BFM Digital. The award-winning developer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 delivers 24 original compositions created specifically for the “Mob of the Dead,” as well as previously unreleased bonus tracks, from Tranzit and Die Rise.

The CoD Black Ops 2 Uprising “Mob of the Dead” zombies experience puts players on the island of Alcatraz, in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome, Al “The Weasel” Arlington, Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca and Michael “Finn” O’Leary.

All four are serving time in Alcatraz Prison, only to discover that being behind bears is the least of their problems. In order to survive, players must work their way through the steel cells and aging concrete buildings while fighting off a multitude of zombified prisoners and guards trapped on the island with them.

You can purchase the “Uprising” content as a standalone CoD: Black Ops 2 map pack for 1,200 Microsoft points, exclusively on Xbox Live for the time being. This content will hit the PS3 and the PC versions of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 at a later date.
