Tales of Xillia hits North America later this summer as a PS3 exclusive

News: Join in the latest “Tales of” series on PS3 beginning August 6 and pick up a really nice Collector’s Edition for no additional cost.

Tales of Xillia will be coming exclusively to PS3 in August.

Tales of Xillia is coming to North America exclusively on the PS3 on August 6. With E3 taking place next week in Los Angeles Namco Bandai has released a new trailer to help whet your appetite for this new “Tales of” game. Tales of Xillia draws players into the grand adventures of Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. In a tale that can be experienced and played through either the perspective of Jude or Milla, the two heroes’ paths fatefully intertwine as they learn that the kingdom of Rashugal has been willfully experimenting with a powerful device that has effectively been draining the mana from the world. Faced with the realization that continued experiments would result in dangerous ramifications, Milla and Jude join forces to bring back peace and restoration to a dying world.

You can currently pre-order the recently announced Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition for $99.99 or the day-one Limited Edition for $59.99. The Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition comes with a DLC voucher that includes the classic “Tales Of” costume pack which was announced with the Tales of Xillia Limited Edition package. The Tales of Xillia music CD will also be shared across both the Tales of Xillia Collector’s and Limited Editions. A limited edition Milla Maxwell statue and Tales of Xillia art book are exclusive to the Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition. The Tales of Xillia Limited Edition is limited to all first-run copies of the game and comes with an exclusive character profile booklet.
