Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was one of the highlights of Ubisoft’s E3 presence this year. There were long lines at the show to see the newest chapter of the Assassin’s Creed franchise and Ubisoft has released the E3 cinematic trailer for you to enjoy while you wait for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag to arrive on current and next gen consoles.

It is 1715 and pirates rule the Caribbean. Watch as Captain Edward Kenway, a brash and brutal pirate assassin, skillfully conquers his enemy at sea and uncovers a valuable, secret treasure. His fight for glory has earned him the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but also drawn him into the ancient war between Assassins and Templars, a war that may destroy everything the pirates have built. A brash rebel assassin - Edward can effortlessly switch between the Hidden Blade of the Assassin’s Order and all new weaponry including four flintlock pistols and dual cutlass swords.
