Saints Row 4 E3 in-game walkthrough video released; will hit Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in August

Saints Row 4 News: See what it is like to run the country as a Saint and what you’ll have to do to protect it from an alien invasion.

Saints Row 4 was at E3 this month and earlier today Deep Silver and Volition released an in-game walkthrough from the E3 demo that was shown to journalists in Los Angeles. Do you want to show off to your friends in Saints Row 4 co-op mode with a shiny new superhero outfit? Running through virtual Steelport with Super Sprint or smashing cars with your Telekinesis skills is twice as fun with one of these special superhero suits. If you pre-order Saints Row 4 at GAME in the UK you will be able to clad yourself either as The Iron Rogue or put on the legendary chestplate of the warrior woman Queen Amazonia!

In the E3 in-game walkthrough, Senior Producer Jim Boone from Volition will show you how the leader of the Saints A.K.A. the self-proclaimed “Patron Saint of America” encounters the alien overlord Zinyak for the first time and how he deals with an alien invasion in the White House - Saints Row style. In the second part of the video Jim presents more open world mayhem, including new weapons like the Blackhole Launcher, a move called “Death From Above” and an all-new experience by Professor Genki himself called Mind Over Murder.

In the next open-world installment of Saints Row, Deep Silver Volition continues the story of the Third Street Saints by elevating their status to the highest level – the leaders of the free world. In Saints Row IV, the head honcho of the Saints has been elected to the Presidency of the United States. But the Saints are just getting started. Now the larger-than-life insanity of the Saints series gets a new twist with a catastrophic alien invasion, and the aliens have transported the Saints to a bizarro-Steelport simulation. Wield gargantuan superpowers and fight to free humanity from alien granddaddy Zinyak’s mental grasp. Escape the simulation that’s trapped the Saints crew, or die trying.
