Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII gets Final Fantasy VII gear as a pre-order bonus on Xbox 360 and PS3

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII News: Use Cloud’s gear in battle and strike the iconic Final Fantasy VII victory poses as you go through Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is being released in February for Xbox 360 and PS3. Square Enix has just released some very interesting pre-order details that Final Fantasy fans should enjoy. These pre-order bonuses include a steelbook, some gear from one of the most iconic Final Fantasy characters out there and more.

For starters, you will get the limited edition steelbook which will probably sell out quickly. Next you will receive a code that will enable you to redeem the Soldier 1st Class uniform, as well as the Buster Sword and Soldier’s Band from Final Fantasy VII. This content will also unlock the familiar FFVII victory poses and fanfare too so you can get your Cloud Strife on in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Additionally, you will also receive the Lightning Samurai Set that will open up three exclusive outfits with unique looks and abilities. You’ll be able to have all of the Shogun, Sohei Savior and Flower of Battle items.

These special pre-order bonuses were mentioned on Square Enix’s European page, however, it should be coming to North America too. Amazon is offering this special content in addition to $10 of Amazon credit if you pre-order Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII with them. Personally speaking, I already have my pre-order placed.
