Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster News: Square Enix has revealed that if you pre-order Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster you will get upgraded to the Limited Edition at no charge.
Square Enix has revealed that gamers who pre-order Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will receive a complimentary upgrade to the Limited Edition version, which includes an exclusive 24-page art book package showcasing the elegant collection of early PS2 system era concept art, along with commentary from the original Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 development teams, and a special message from Producer Yoshinori Kitase. This limited pre-order offer will be available at major North American retailers.
Kitase also confirmed the cross-platform support of the PS3 and PS Vita. Additionally, a new 30 minute audio drama written by Scenario Writer Kazueshige Nojima will be included as part of the game credits. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is on a single disc for the PS3 version and will be available for $39.99. Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 HD will be available individually on the PS Vita for $19.99 each. In addition to this announcement Square Enix also released a comparison video showing off what Final Fantasy X looked like on PS2 compared with how it will look remastered on the PS3.
