Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus News: Ratchet & Clank return to form in a new story-driven adventure with the humor that Ratchet fans have come to expect from the franchise.
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will hit the PS3 this holiday season. Insomniac has just revealed that a new Ratchet & Clank is currently in development and it will become available sooner than you might think. Oddly enough it is not a PS4 game but with over 70 million PS3 consoles sold they probably wanted to try and capture the broadest audience possible.
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus takes place after the “Future” games and is a story-driven platform adventure with the humor that fans have come to expect from the franchise. Into the Nexus has a bunch of crazy new weapons, gadgets and ideas. One of the themes that is explored is gravity, or rather, the lack thereof. In the trailer below you will see some segments that take place in zero-g space and you’ll be able to manipulate gravity to solve some brand new puzzles.
It is worth nothing that Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is a PS3 exclusive. While Insomniac has branched out and is a multi-platform studio now, Sony still has the rights to Ratchet & Clank and that is where they are going to stay for the forseeable future. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be available in your favorite game store as well as digitally on PSN. Insomniac claims that the size of this game will be the biggest downloadable Ratchet & Clank yet, dwarfing the size of both Quest For Booty and Full Frontal Assault.
Finally, you should be happy to hear that this game will retail for only $29.99. That is a pretty amazing price and with Ratchet’s return to form (hopefully) PS3 gamers are going to be getting a great game this holiday season at a great price. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think. Will you be purchasing Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus?
