News: Check out the new dungeon crawl walkthrough video released right before phase four of beta testing begins.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available in a little over a month for the PS3 and PC. The fourth phase of the beta will begin soon and those who have registered a beta code by next Tuesday, July 30, at 9:49pm PDT will be automatically accepted to participate. To help whet your appetite a new “Dungeon Crawl” walkthrough video has been released to show off part of what you can expect from this game.
From the dark recesses of Tam-Tara to the wilds of Brayflox’s Longstop, this video will take you on a tour of the lower level dungeons found in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Final Fantasy XIV will also be available on the PS4 at some point in 2014 and Square Enix is currently in talks with Sony to ensure that players who purchase the PS3 version of the game will be able to smoothly transition their game accounts to the PS4 version upon release.
“The heart of everything we’re working towards is enabling players and their friends to experience their own rich Final Fantasy adventure,” said Naoki Yoshida, Producer & Director. “The deeply integrated social capabilities of the PS4 will make it a natural home for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The team and I are thrilled to continue our adventure on the next generation gaming platform, and we hope that you’ll join us!”
