Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII News: Square Enix releases new trailers for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII showcasing new outfits and more.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII comes out in early 2014 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. With the Tokyo Game Show going on right now Square Enix has released two new videos to showcase what you can expect next year when you play the conclusion to Lightning’s saga.
One of the new trailers released is the specific TGS 2013 trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The other trailer that was released features Lightning in the “Spira’s Summoner” garb. This garb is worn by Yuna, a summoner who brought the Eternal Calm to a faraway land called Spira in Final Fantasy X. The final game will offer a high level of customization with over 80 different costumes for Lightning.
Lightning will be the playable character - with a highly evolved range of techniques for battles and exploring the environment. You can customize Lightning with a large range of different outfits and weapons; that affect not only the way she looks, but also her actions and abilities. A new battle system gives a level of direct control over the action unlike any Final Fantasy game, while having iconic elements that are known and loved throughout the series too.
A world on a course for total annihilation presents unique challenges; where certain areas, missions, and people will only be available during selected periods. How will you use your remaining time?
Check out the two new trailers below and tell us what you think. Which version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will you be picking up?
