Minecraft News: 4J Studios recently revealed that Minecraft has been recently delayed on next gen platforms in order to get it out on the PS3.
Minecraft is coming to the PS3 before the Vita, PS4 and Xbox One versions launch. Earlier today 4J Studios revealed that they are currently working on launching the PS3 version of their hit game while the ports for the next gen versions are on the back burner for the time being.
“We’re hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now,” 4J Studios tweeted. “The other platforms [and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’s Title Update 14] will be later.”
It was revealed earlier this year at E3 that Minecraft was coming to Xbox One. It was then revealed a couple of months later that Minecraft would also be making its way to the PS4 and PS Vita. Unfortunately for Minecraft fans a timetable hasn’t been given for when we might see Minecraft enter next gen territory.
