PS Plus members will receive a PS3 game this week along with some new discounts

News: Sony has revealed what PS3 game PS Plus members in North America will receive this week along with the next title in the PS Vita “Play” promotion.

PlayStation Plus members will be receiving a free PS Plus game this week according to Sony. The game that will be available for download tomorrow is Payday 2. In addition to that game entering the Instant Game Collection there is another title in the PS Vita “Play” promotion as well as a couple of other discounts.

For those who aren’t familiar with Payday 2 the brief premise is below:

”Payday 2 is an action-packed, four player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original Payday crew - Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains - as they descend on Washington D.C. for an epic crime spree. The new CrimeNet network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to major league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic Payday. While in D.C., why not participate in the local community and run a few political errands?”

The game entering the PS Vita “Play” sale this week is TxK. It will be available for $7.99 for PS Plus members. Additionally Blood Knights will be available for $7.99 for PS Plus members and DrawSlasher will be available for $2.75. These discounts will only last one week though so be sure to take advantage of them while you can.

With Payday 2 entering the IGC today, Sony has revealed that two other games will be leaving next week. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the PS Vita and Poker Night 2 for the PS3 will no longer be free after the store updates next week so be sure to download them while you can.
