News: Playground games will be developing Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One while Sumo Digital will be taking up the reigns for the Xbox 360 version.
Forza Horizon 2 is official and is coming out later this year for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. This news comes courtesy of IGN who had the scoop earlier today . Forza Horizon 2 is set to include “hundreds” of cars, headlined by the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. There will also apparently be a weather system in Forza Horizon 2 along with Forza 5’s Drivatar system.
Forza Horizon 2’s locale is set in Southern Europe where there will undoubtedly be some amazing scenery as you race down the road. Apparently music will also play a big factor in Forza Horizon 2, as it did in the original, and will, once again, be the central event in the game.
Forza Horizon 2 also apparently has two developers. The Xbox One version is being handled by Playground Games and using the graphical engine from Forza 5. The Xbox 360 version is being handled by Sumo Digital who is using the graphical engine from Forza Horizon 1.
What do you think of this revelation? Did you enjoy the original Forza Horizon? What improvements would you like to see in the sequel? Leave your thoughts below.
