PlayStation Plus Members Get Two Free PS4 Games and One PS3 Game This Week

News: Sony has revealed the titles that are entering the Instant Game Collection this week with two PS4 games and one game for PS3.

Sony has revealed what PlayStation Plus members in North America will be receiving this week with three new games entering the Instant Game Collection. PS4 owners will be receiving two free games tomorrow as part of the IGC with PS3 owners getting a game as well. The two games that will be available to PS4 owners include Trine 2: Complete Story along with PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate. PS3 owners will also be able to download NBA 2K14 for free tomorrow after the PS Store updates. For those who might not be familiar with these titles, a brief synopsis is below:

Trine 2: Complete Story - Trine 2: Complete Story is a beautiful, award-winning sidescrolling game of action, puzzles and platforming. Play as the three Heroes – Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief – and join their adventure through dangers untold in a fantastical fairytale world, including physics-based puzzles using fire, water, gravity and magic wicked goblins and their evil plan and a magical environment full of wonder.

PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate - PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate is a twin-stick shooter with equal elements of action, exploration and puzzle solving. Saving scientists and uncovering the mysteries of an ill-fated research trip requires you to study and manipulate your environment. Blast and dig through rock and ice, unleashing floods of water, lava, gas, magnetic oil and even deadly stomach acid, all powered by an advanced fluid mechanics simulation.

NBA 2K14 - NBA 2K13 was a monstrous release for the world’s #1 NBA video game franchise, with more than 38 Sports Game of the Year and ‘Best Of’ mentions. NBA 2K14 will raise the bar yet again, providing the best basketball gaming experience for legions of sports fans and gamers around the world.

In addition to those three titles it also appears to be Rainbow Moon week on the PlayStation Store with a plethora of Rainbow Moon items being on sale. If you are interested in seeing what those are be sure to check them out here. Sony is also offering Destiny of Spirits - Destiny Orbs 50 for the PS Vita for free.

Please keep in mind that in addition to these games entering the IGC and the new sales on Rainbow Moon items that there will be games leaving the Instant Game Collection next week. The games that will no longer be available for free after the PS Store updates on June 10 include Skullgirls Encore, Stealth Inc: A Clone In The Dark, Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut, Payday 2 and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Be sure to “buy” those games before them if you want them as part of your gaming library.
