News: Far Cry 4 received numerous awards last month at E3 for a variety of reasons and Ubisoft has just released a new trailer to show some of them off.
Far Cry 4 was made a pretty big splash last month at E3 and won a bunch of awards from various outlets. Ubisoft has just released a new “E3 2014 Accolades Trailer” for Far Cry 4 to both show off the game as well as some of the awards it received.
Hidden in the towering Himalayas lies a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale, returning to the country of your birth, the lush forests and harsh snow-capped mountains of Kyrat, to fulfill your mother’s dying wish of spreading her ashes. This striking and unpredictable country offers visitors opportunity and peril. You quickly find yourself caught up in a rebellion to overthrow the oppressive regime of Pagan Min, a man known as much for his sense of style and charisma as his cruelty and calculated brutality. Navigating the treacherous landscape, you find your fate increasingly determined by the choices you make because in Kyrat, every second is a story.
“Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations,” said Dan Hay, Executive Producer. “Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.”
