News: With Gamescom upon us, Netherrealm Studios has released the name of another fighter on the Mortal Kombat X roster.

Mortal Kombat X is set to be released in 2015 and Netherrealm Studios has done a great job of slowly revealing the roster. Earlier today they released another video, this time showing off Kano. Ed Boon helps narrate this new trailer showing off some of Kano’s new moves as well as his new look. Like every other fighter, he has three different different fighting styles.

The first fighting style is the “Cutthroat Variation.” This is where Kano will pound on his glowing cyber heart and it appears this variation is for more of the in-your-face mentality with Kano’s knife based combo attacks and more.

The second fighting style is the “Cybernetic Kano.” As the name implies, this variation uses more of Kano’s cyernetic implants. You can use more laser eye attacks with this variation, as well as grenades to give you more range when you are fighting and more.

The third fighting style is the “Commando” variation. This is also for more close range fighting and improves Kano’s grappling skills to help you dominate your opponent with ease by tossing them around the arena and pounding on them until something breaks (usually one or more bones of your opponent).

This new trailer also shows off the Jungle arena and, at the end, gives a brief teaser as to what one of Kano’s fatalities in the game will be. Check out the trailer for yourself and tell us what you think. Mortal Kombat X is currently slated to arrive on the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and will arrive in 2015. Will you be picking it up?
