News: Access Games has just released their new game and it is now available exclusively on Xbox One.

D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die

In a somewhat strange move, D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die is now available on Xbox One. It is strange because of the stealth nature of this release. There really wasn’t any advance warning, no trailers or any indication that this game was coming soon. For those who might not be aware of what D4 is, it is an episodic game by Hidetaka Suehiro. Xbox.com has the following description for the story:

“A time traveling detective has to solve his wife’s murder before he can prevent it. Use his supernatural ability to “dive” into the world of the living past by touching artifacts called “mementos” to find out the truth behind his wife’s death.”

D4 is a game that you can play with Kinect or an Xbox One controller. The decision is completely up to you. I saw this game at a press event last year and watched some people playing it with the Kinect and it seemed to work well. I have no personal experience with the final product though so I’m not sure how it all turned out.

D4 was developed by Access Games and is published by Microsoft Studios. It is available for $14.99 and you can purchase it by clicking here. Take a look at the launch trailer below and tell us what you think. Will you be buying D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die?
