Cyber Monday Deal News: Walmart and Amazon are the best stores to buy Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack for Wii U, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 on Cyber Monday.

Skylanders Trap Team Walmart sale Cyber Monday deal 2014

Skylanders Trap Team is seeing a significant price drop on Cyber Monday from two stores in particular, Amazon and Walmart, where the game and toys are $15 off.

Walmart's Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack is $49.99 at the No. 1 US retailer, at least for the Xbox 360 and Wii versions of the video game and starter toys.

The Wii U and PS4 editions are $59.96, while the PS3 version is the same price but not in stock as of press time. Availability and price of Skylanders Trap Team is likely to change throughout the Cyber Monday deals period.

Amazon's Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack deal is cheaper at $49.99 for the Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One versions and it's the same price for the Wii game. It's much more expensive for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, strangely, enough.

It's strange how Walmart and Amazon have flip-flopped on the new Skylanders prices for Cyber Monday. Either way you go, it's a whole lot better than paying for the Activision-made title at Best Buy for GameStop.

Best Buy is selling Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack for $74.99 and GameStop is still stuck at the same original MSRP price that hasn't been discounted. Best to stick with Amazon for next-gen and Walmart for last-gen consoles during Cyber Monday.

Check back with Gaming Target for more deals throughout the week as Christmas inches closer.
