News: It has been revealed that the next piece of story content will be released next week and it will be free for everyone.

Assassin’s Creed Unity has some new story content being released next week in the form of the “Dead Kings” DLC. This was originally planned to be a part of the Assassin’s Creed Unity season pass, however, the season pass was cancelled a few weeks after the game’s release. What this means is that the “Dead Kings” DLC will be available for free to everyone and those who purchased the season pass when it was available would get a free game as a sign of appreciation from Ubisoft.

This new piece of downloadable content will take place after the story of the main game. For that reason you will want to go through the campaign in Assassin’s Creed Unity before tackling this new content. According to Ubisoft, Dead Kings will take you from the bloody streets of revolutionary Paris to the troubled city of Saint-Denis. Arno has left Paris to be alone until he finds himself wrapped up in some of the mysteries surrounding Saint-Denis. You will get to explore the city’s extensive underground with Arno’s lantern as well as arm yourself with Arno’s new explosive gun, the Guillotine Gun. There will also be new side missions to complete as well as new puzzles to solve.

Assassin’s Creed Unity: Dead Kings will be released on January 13. Check out the cinematic trailer below and tell us what you think. Are you excited for more Assassin’s Creed content?
