We are almost in the month of July and Microsoft has just revealed what games Xbox Live Gold members will be receiving for free. The month of July marks the two year anniversary of the “Games with Gold” program and as such Xbox One owners will begin receiving two new games on Xbox One every month in addition to the two free games you get for the Xbox 360. The games that you will receive for free in the month of July include:

Xbox One

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag - Available July 1 through July 31 - It is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established a lawless Republic. Among these outlaws is a fearsome young captain named Edward Kenway. His exploits earn the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but draw him into an ancient war that may destroy everything the pirates have built.

So Many Me - Available July 16 through August 15 - So Many Me combines puzzle-solving platform gameplay and the careful resource management of classic games like Lemmings. Players take the role of a Me named Filo who discovers that he can make clones of himself that each possess unique powers. By combining their efforts, Filo and his misfit band of Me can solve puzzles, dodge devious traps, and defeat the evil minions that threaten their home world.

Xbox 360

Plants vs. Zombies - Available July 1 through July 15 - Plants vs. Zombies pits you against legions of invading zombies bent on overwhelming your lawn and making their way to your front door. To defeat the hordes of living dead trespassing on your lawn, you must purchase and plant a wide range of lovable mutant flowers, vines, trees and other foliage that has zombie-combating powers and abilities.

Gears of War 3 - Available July 16 through July 31 - Gears of War 3 plunges players into a harrowing tale of hope, survival, and brotherhood that will conclude the current story arc for “Gears of War.” With the last human city destroyed and the remaining survivors stranded, time is running out for Marcus and his comrades as they fight to save the human race from the jaws of extinction.

Check out the trailer for each respective game below and tell us what you think. Do you like this offering for the month of July? What would you like to see in August?
