How to Survive Storm Warning Edition Now Available for Free on Xbox One

News: The second free Xbox One game from the month of August is now available to download for Xbox Live Gold members.

A new title is available for free on Xbox One as part of August’s Games with Gold program. How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition is now available for download and is a complete edition including the original crafting survival zombie nightmare plus six additional DLC packs. You will have to survive on a zombie infested archipelago, fulfill your basic needs of food, water and shelter while facing natural and unnatural threats.

As for How to Survive itself, you will have to craft dozens of items to survive. There are seven “exuberant” islands. There are four playable characters with different stats, skills and abilities. There is “gameplay changing weather” and you will be able to play with a friend both offline and online. There are three different difficulty levels so you can play at your own pace as well as additional modes.
