News: PlayStation gamers are getting a special limited edition console to coincide with the release of Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is set to be released in November. Earlier today Activision and Sony revealed that the PlayStation 4 is getting a special Black Ops III console to go along with the game. This special PS4 features the iconic Black Ops III ember orange logo, orange power and eject buttons and logos for each of the in-game modes. This limited edition PS4 console also comes with a 1TB hard drive and a special gray controller with orange thumbsticks, d-pad and a Black Ops III logo on the grip. This special edition console also comes with the standard copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, as well as a voucher for the “Nuk3town” bonus multiplayer map.
“Last month’s beta on PS4 was a phenomenal success. We want to thank the amazing PlayStation Nation for its feedback, for its participation, and for making Black Ops III the largest beta in PS4 history! Black Ops III is without a doubt the most ambitious game that Call of Duty has ever created — Treyarch is pushing the boundaries across each and every mode of play on PS4,” says Activision GM of Call of Duty Rob Kostich.
“From day one, it has been designed to push the franchise to new heights on next generation hardware. We cannot wait for you to experience Black Ops III for yourselves on November 6th, and we hope you like the Black Ops III Limited Edition PS4 as much as we do!”
This limited edition console will be available the same day Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches and it will be available for $449.99. If you are interested in this PS4 you can go pre-order it right now. This bundle will also be released in Canada for $549.99 CAD.
