News: EA has confirmed that the next game to enter the EA Access vault will be Battlefield Hardline sometime in October.

”Battlefield:

EA Access continues to get better for Xbox One gamers. The EA Access Twitter has just confirmed that Battlefield: Hardline will be available as a free download for members beginning in October. They didn’t specify which day in October but nonetheless this is great news. Dragon Age: Inquisition was just added in August and EA Access members will have access to another big game. Ironically enough Battlefield Hardline was originally scheduled to be released last October but ended up getting delayed a few months until March 2015.

Powered by DICE’s award-winning Frostbite 3 game engine, Battlefield Hardline lets players trigger “Levolution” events as they shoot out subterranean grow-labs, blow open bank vaults, or tear apart the streets of Los Angeles. Introducing a new arsenal of guns and gadgets, including stun guns, zip lines, and grappling hooks, players take on a new level of strategy as both cops and criminals on every map. Maintaining the epic vehicular combat fans have come to expect from Battlefield, Battlefield Hardline ushers in a fast and fresh urban approach to vehicles with loot-laden getaway motorcycles and nimble police choppers to navigate sprawling skyscrapers.

EA Access is available exclusively on Xbox One and it is $29.99 as an annual membership or $4.99 per month if you choose to go month-to-month. Going the annual route is definitely the way to go though as it means that every month is essentially $2.50. You get access to all of the games in the vault, 10% off any and all digital EA content on the Xbox Store and the ability to play games five days before release, such as Star Wars Battlefront a little later this year.

If you don’t already have EA Access, will this be the game that makes you get it? Tell us what you think below.
