News: Any DLC that you bought in the past for an Xbox 360 game that is on the current list of backwards compatible titles is now available.

”Fallout

Backwards compatibility has arrived on Xbox One allowing you to play many of your Xbox 360 games on Microsoft’s current gen console with more being added on a regular basis. With the addition of these titles there are many people wondering what is going to happen with the DLC for these games. Microsoft has said that DLC you have purchased would be available once the backwards compatibility feature goes live and now it is available for everyone.

If you downloaded all of the DLC for Fallout 3, for example, this is how you can access it on your Xbox One:

  • Go to “My Games and Apps”

  • Go go “Games”

  • Go to Fallout 3

  • Push the start button and then select “manage game”

  • Once you have done that you will see Fallout 3 on the left and all of the DLC that is available to you on the right. At that point just click “install all” for all of the DLC and it will be downloaded and installed for you so that you can access it in the game.

This method should work for every game that you have DLC for. Once everything is downloaded then you are good to go and you can play your favorite Xbox 360 game with the DLC on your Xbox One.
