News: Multiple reports are coming in about the servers either being offline or being able to sign on for a few moments and then kicked out.
Star Wars Battlefront is now available for everyone to get but it appears the servers are on fire. According to downdetector.com and the live EA Outage Map the west and parts of the northeast coast as well as parts of Europe appear to be either down or at the very least having a lot of problems. There are reports of people not even being able to load their games right now, less than an hour after the launch.
The problems seem to be ranging from not being able to launch a game, to launching a game and then having it crash a few moments later and, in some instances, licenses aren’t being recognized. Messages and reports are being sent to EA’s Twitter account wondering what is going on with @JonnyWalle saying that his PS4 Battlefront Ultimate Edition license isn’t being recognized. Others claim to have taken screenshots that show an error message about the EA servers being offline.
If we are able to get an official word out of EA then we will be sure to post it here. Until then, have you been able to do anything with Battlefront? Have you been able to access the game at all? If so, how did you do it?
