News: Microsoft has added 16 new games to the backwards compatibility list in addition to the December Games with Gold titles.

”Xbox

Microsoft launched backwards compatibility on the Xbox One last month with the promise of regular updates to keep increasing the number of Xbox 360 games you can play on Xbox One. Earlier today they revealed the December update adding 16 new games bringing the total to over 120 Xbox 360 games that can now be played on the Xbox One. The new titles that are available beginning today include:

  • Braid

  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution

  • Doritos Crash Course

  • Fable III

  • Halo: Reach

  • Hydro Thunder

  • Iron Brigade

  • Kane & Lynch 2

  • Motocross Madness

  • Ms. Pac-Man

  • Peggle

  • Portal: Still Alive

  • Spelunky

  • Splosion Man

  • Ticket to Ride

  • Zuma’s Revenge!

  • Keep in mind that in addition to this new list that every Games with Gold title is now backwards compatible on Xbox One as well. For the month of December that means that you can add Castle Storm, Sacred 3 and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising to the list as well. If you would like to see the full list, be sure to check out our full Xbox One Backwards compatibility list that was available when the feature launched.

Microsoft promises that this is just the beginning of getting Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One. If your favorite game hasn’t made it yet then be sure to go to Xbox.UserVoice.com to make your voice heard and, hopefully, your favorite game eventually gets added to the list.
