News: The first trailer for the Assassin’s Creed movie has been released and shows off some what you can expect to see later this year.

”Assassin’s

There isn’t going to be a brand new, mainline Assassin’s Creed game in 2016 but we are finally getting the movie. The first trailer for the movie has finally been released and it looks fantastic. Judging by what little is shown in the trailer it looks like they have done a tremendous job in capturing the feel of the franchise and the core tenets that Assassin’s Creed revolves around.

A brief synopsis for the Assassin’s Creed movie is as follows:

”When Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, he discovers he is a descendant of the secret Assassins society.”

In addition to Michael Fassbender being the star of the film there is also Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises), Jeremy Irons (Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice), Callum Turner (Green Room), Brendan Gleeson (Edge of Tomorrow) and more. It is being directed by Justin Kurzel.

The Assassin’s Creed movie is currently slated to be released later this year on December 21, 2016 in North America. Check out the trailer that was released and tell us what you think. Will you be going to see Assassin’s Creed in theaters?
