News: Atlus has delayed their highly anticipated title into the first part of 2017 but have revealed a special edition for when it comes out.
There are a lot of gamers eagerly anticipating the release of Persona 5 but it looks like you are going to have to wait longer than you thought. Persona 5 has been delayed into 2017 and it is now set to come out on Valentine’s Day. Exclusive to the PS4 version of the game, Persona 5 “Take Your Heart” Premium Edition is going to be in a massive box which will include the following:
64-Page Hardcover Art Book - This art book is full of concept sketches, character art and more by character designer Shigenori Soejima.
School Bag - Designed after the traditional school bags in Japan, the exclusive replica bag comes complete with the Shujin Academy crest.
SteelBook - As strong as a vault, the game disc for PS4 will come specially packaged in a SteelBook collectible case, emblazoned with Persona 5 designs.
Soundtrack CD - A selection of music from Persona 5 by legendary series composer, Shoji Meguro, in a CD sleeve featuring special P5 artwork.
4” Morgana Plush - Morgana the Phantom Thieves’ cat is not just the mascot of the Phantom Thieves, but also a member - and also not just a cat. The premium edition includes an exclusive 4” plush of Morgana.
This “Take Your Heart” edition will be available for $89.99 when it launches next year. If you are interested in just the game there will be a special SteelBook Launch Edition. All pre-orders and limited number of launch copies will come in an official, collectible SteelBook case, adorned with Persona 5 art. This too will be exclusive to the PS4 version.
Atlus also confirmed that Persona 5 is still coming to the PS3 as well. It will be available for $49.99 at launch and come in a standard case. Persona 5 will be shown off next week in Los Angeles during E3 where we will hopefully see how the game is coming along. Do you plan on picking up Persona 5 when it launches in 2017?
