Darksiders Heading to Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U According to NewEgg Listing

News: The original Darksiders game featuring War is supposedly heading to Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U in a couple months.

The original Darksiders is heading to Xbox One, PS4 and the Wii U if a listing on Newegg is to be believed. We have already had a remaster of Darksiders II appear on those consoles so it only makes sense that the original is on the way as well. Hopefully this means that Nordic Games is working on giving us Darksiders III and continuing on with the franchise. For those who aren’t familiar with the original Darksiders title, the premise is below:

”The end of the world has come - but the adventure is only beginning. Accused of prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War, the first Horseman of the Apocalypse, is dishonored and stripped of his powers. Now he must return to Earth to seek out the forces of evil that deceived him and rain punishment down on those truly responsible. Navigating a path across the ravaged remains of Earth, War must forge uneasy alliances with demons even as he hunts them, evade the pursuit of vengeful Angels and expose a deep and deadly conspiracy mired in the ongoing battle between the forces of Heaven and Hell.

The original Darksiders (as well as Darksiders II) was of course put out by THQ but they went out a business a few years ago and Nordic Games gained the rights to the Darksiders franchise. Among many other things, Darksiders was notable to some fans because it had Mark Hamill doing one of the voices.
