News: Sony has unveiled two new skus for the PlayStation 4 with one of them being out soon and the next one being released in November.

”PS4

The PlayStation keynote has just ended in New York where we saw the official reveal of the PS4 Slim console and the PS4 Pro console (previously known as the Neo). Unfortunately this keynote didn’t provide us with a whole lot of information about what we can expect but here are the details that we do know:

PS4 Pro

  • Capable of 4K and utilizes HDR

  • Double the power of the PS4 GPU

  • CPU clock rate has been boosted

  • Interoperability between the PS4 Pro and the PS4

  • Comes with a 1tb hard drive

  • Available November 10 for $399

  • PS4 Slim

  • Smaller form factor

  • Available September 15 for $299

  • Throughout the conference they showed some nice videos of games that run on PS4 Pro but the problem is that the majority of people watching the conference don’t have 4K HDR tvs so no one could tell the difference. The one big takeaway from the show was that we got to see some Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay which was cool.

We will be sure to have more details as they are made available. Will you be picking up a PS4 Pro when it launches in November?
