News: If you were looking forward to picking up the remaster for the first Darksiders game then you are going to have to wait a few extra weeks.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition seems to have been delayed by a few weeks. It was originally supposed to be released on October 25 on Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U but listings on both Amazon and Gamestop now have the game’s release date at November 22, 2016. That isn’t a huge delay or anything but it is a bit disappointing coming from someone who is looking forward to picking it up and has already pre-ordered it on Amazon.
Some of the features for the Darksiders: Warmastered Edition include the following:
Native 1080p rendering, fully reworked and improved graphics, and 60 FPS gameplay
Apocalyptic Power - Unleash the wrath of War, combining brutal attacks and supernatural abilities to decimate all who stand in your way
Extreme Arsenal - Wield a devastating arsenal of angelic, demonic and Earthly weapons, and blaze a trail of destruction atop Ruin, War’s fiery phantom steed
Character Progression - Uncover powerful ancient relics, upgrade your weapons, unlock new abilities and customize your gameplay style
Epic Quest - Battle across the wastelands and demon-infested dungeons of the decimated Earth in your quest for vengeance and redemption
The Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will be available for $19.99 but if you are an Amazon Prime member you can get it for $15.99 during the first two weeks the game is on the market. Best Buy currently doesn’t have this game listed in their system but you can also get 20% off there as a Gamers Club Unlocked member if it ever does show up in their stores or on their site.
Do you plan on picking up Darksiders: Warmastered Edition? If enough people support this game (as well as Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition that is also on Xbox One and PS4) then hopefully we will get a third entry in this franchise.
