Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is being released next week. To help celebrate they have released a live action trailer that is titled, “Screw it, Let’s Go to Space.” The trailer takes some jabs at the current state of affairs in 2016 and because of what is happening people are choosing to go to space.

“If ever there was a year when people could use a break from the headlines for a little good old fashioned escapist entertainment, 2016 is it,” said Tim Ellis, CMO, Activision. “‘Screw It, Let’s Go To Space’ captures this feeling on a global scale and transports you into the epic gameplay and settings of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It’s a thrill ride like no other, and it’s coming November 4th.”

This is director Peter Berg’s third collaboration with Call of Duty. “Screw It, Let’s Go To Space” pokes fun at the seemingly unending string of contentious news events of 2016 and offers up Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as a much-needed escape. From businessmen to newscasters to delivery drivers to Michael Phelps and Danny McBride, everyone in the spot leaves their differences and stresses behind to blast off into space and let loose in an action-packed thrill ride.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare explores the weight of leadership and the responsibilities that come with it in an emotional, character-driven narrative. In a first for the franchise, Infinite Warfare introduces an all-new story set beyond Earth’s atmosphere, delivering an list of gameplay innovations, such as space dog-fighting and zero gravity action, as well as seamless transitions from experience to experience keeping players engaged in the action. In addition to the single player, story campaign, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare also delivers a robust multiplayer mode, and a unique, 1980’s inspired cooperative zombies experience, “Zombies in Spaceland.”

Developed by Activision’s Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches worldwide November 4. The Digital Deluxe and Legacy Editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare also include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The Modern Warfare remaster will feature both the single player campaign and the multiplayer suite, however, only 10 of the 16 maps from Modern Warfare will be available at launch. The other six will be released sometime in December.
