News: A new developer diary has been released to show off a little bit more of Snake Pass which is set to be released next week.

A new developer diary has just been released for Snake Pass. In this developer diary the team discusses how Snake Pass developed from the initial Game Jam build to the beautiful tropical paradise, where players slither, curl and climb their way through increasingly challenging worlds.

The Snake Pass story also comes full circle as the team will be heading back to London for EGX Rezzed at Tobacco Dock in London from March 30th - April 1st. Snake Pass will be part of the “Powered by Unreal Engine” zone that will showcase many notable games and experiences being built with Unreal Engine 4, including Snake Pass that will be available to play on all platforms.

EGX Rezzed 2016 hosted Snake Pass’ original test demo and it was based on its reception there, that Sumo went ahead into full production. It’s apt that EGX Rezzed 2017 takes place just a couple of days after the full game launches, so the team at Sumo couldn’t be happier to celebrate along with fellow snake charmers at the show. Sumo will be hosting speed runs, prize giveaways and of course, everyone at the show will be able to play the final game on the platform of their choice.

Snake Pass launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 28th in North America and March 29th in Europe. Snake Pass has players slither, curl and climb their way through increasingly challenging worlds, filled with ever more intricate obstacles and fiendishly mind-bending objectives.

Check out the developer diary below and tell us what you think. Are you going to pick up Snake Pass when it launches next week? If so, which platform will you get it on?
