I Am Setsuna on Nintendo Switch Receives Exclusive Content This Week

News: The Nintendo Switch version of I Am Setsuna is getting a new mode this week that accessible after you beat the main story.

Square Enix has revealed that I Am Setsuna on the Nintendo Switch is going to be receiving some exclusive content this week. After you complete the main story you will be able to enter the Temporal Battle Arena from the Last Lands, where you can test the might of your guardians against others that have also completed Setsuna’s pilgrimage in this party vs. party update. Teams that emerge victorious will be rewarded with items belonging to the other team. This new mode will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

I Am Setsuna follows the story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible power and inner strength, on her journey of sacrifice to save the people of her land. With simple turn based controls and unique gameplay mechanisms; I Am Setsuna merges the beloved nostalgic elements from the golden era of JRPGs with today’s technology.

This new content for the Nintendo Switch version will arrive on April 13, 2017. There has been no mention of a price so, for right now, I am going to operate under the assumption that this will be a free update. I Am Setsuna is available for $39.99 on the Nintendo eShop store. There is no physical version available in North America, however, you can import the physical version from Japan if you so desire.
