Mafia III “Sign of the Times” DLC Now Available to Download

News: The third and final piece of story DLC for Mafia III is now available and brings in a new game mechanic, weapons, cars and more.

New downloadable content is now available for Mafia III. This new content is titled “Sign of the Times” and is the third downloadable content pack for Mafia III. Sign of the Times introduces a new mysterious threat as Lincoln Clay is pitted against a violent group of cultists called The Ensanglante. Players will deploy new investigative gameplay tactics, as well as new weapons and combat abilities, including throwing knives and slow-mo shooting, to rid New Bordeaux of the insidious threat.

In addition to dismantling the Ensanglante in the new storyline, Mafia III: Sign of the Times also allows players to restore Sammy’s bar to its former glory and beyond, symbolically completing Lincoln’s story of redemption.

This new content introduces a new enemy with the Ensanglante, a drug fueled blood worshipping cult operating in and around the city. You need to figure out what the Ensanglante are up to and try to stop it. You will have to investigate ritual sites for clues and any sign for where they may be headed next. You can take pictures of the evidence, check bodies and find clues using your blacklight.

There is also a new mechanic that gets introduced with this DLC. It is a slow-motion gunplay mechanic, similar to the slow-motion driving skill introduced in “Faster, Baby!”. Once this is activated the world slows as you take aim. Essentially it sounds like their take on the bullet time mechanic that some other titles have used.

This new DLC pack also brings in new weapons, new threads and new wheels for your fleet. You can also return Sammy’s to its former glory and then build on top of that. Check out the trailer below showcasing this new content and tell us what you think. Will you be playing “Sign of the Times”?
