News: If you are a PlayStation Plus member that lives in Europe you might want to stock up on an extra year or two before the new prices arrive.
PlayStation Plus is going up in price in Europe according to Sony. As of 00:01 BST on August 31 the new prices will be as follows:
Annually - The price will change from £39.99 to £49.99
Quarterly - The price will change from £14.99 to £19.99
Monthly - The price will change from £5.99 to $6.99
If you no longer want to be a PlayStation Plus member and you don’t want to be charged this new price you will need to turn off the auto renew feature in your account settings at least 48 hours before your next payment on or after August 31, 2017. If you want to remain a PlayStation Plus member but don’t want to pay the new prices for a while, you can buy a year or two right now under the current price and then just add that to your subscription so you don’t have to worry about the new price until next year or the year after.
The email that Sony sent out is below. Take a look at it and tell us what you think. Are you going to remain a PlayStation Plus member once these new prices arrive?
